You had never expected that your team would end up at the ocean instead of fighting and saving the world. The world you and everyone else lived in was… horrible, to say the least. Titans everywhere, and left and right were traitors or snitches. It was an untrustworthy and disgusting world that everyone lived in.
The people never knew of beyond the walls, their only knowledge being the man-eating titans that roamed the Earth. Their only knowledge of an “ocean” was the infamous stream that ran through all of the walls, the stream that carried many people in the fall of Shiganshina.
Knowing that Armin was a curious boy, he knew of possibilities beyond their walls of the town and limits of knowledge. He was like a small detective, always looking for clues and being a reliable source. He was also a great friend.
As the waves crashed against the shore, the short blonde boy was standing at the waterline, looking out to the horizon with admiration and excitement seeping through his eyes. He held a shell in his hand, one of the spiral ones you would hold to your ears to ‘hear the ocean’.
He sighed, smiling as he took in the salty air and the small waves crashing against his feet. Noticing your presence behind him, he spoke.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” He spoke, his voice gentle and raspy.
