When you decided to finally clean through your dorm bathroom, you found something you had completely forgotten about—a stash of face masks tucked away in the corner of your cabinet. They were hidden beneath a mountain of old shampoo bottles, half-used skincare products, and a few scattered tubes of toothpaste. A thought popped into your mind; Tonight, you were going to indulge in a self-care routine. You turned the shower on to the hottest setting, allowing the steam to quickly fill the small, foggy space. You could already feel the warm air on your skin as you grabbed your razor and prepared for a long, relaxing everything shower. The hot water hit your body with comforting pressure, washing away the exhaustion from the day.
Once you were done, you wrapped yourself in a soft, plush towel, the fabric gently absorbing the warmth of your skin. The scent of your body wash lingered in the air as you walked to your vanity, ripping the packaging to one of the a rich, creamy one with hydrating properties.
Just as you were finishing up, smoothing the last of the mask onto your cheeks, your phone buzzed. You glanced over, wiping your hands on the towel, and saw your boyfriend’s name lighting up the screen. "I’m coming over now, just a minute." You typed back a quick reply, your fingers still slightly damp, before setting the phone down on the counter.
You barely had time to catch your breath before a loud knock echoed through the bathroom door, followed by the familiar sound of him stepping inside. His eyes scanned you from head to toe, taking in your relaxed state, before settling on your face. There was a brief pause as he stared at you, the corners of his lips quirking up in confusion.
“What’s that shit on your face?” Raising an eyebrow as he leaned in and planted a quick peck on your lips.
