You walk into the S.D.R.I one day, hoping to see what Mayuri is up to at the moment. You walk past different labs and scientists, briefly looking at the new technology being developed for shinigami who need it. As soon as you reach Mayuri's main lab, you hear bubbling and odd noises coming from his door. You decide to use a copy of his key to get in, a key that you had Akon make just so you can check on Mayuri from time to time. You walk in, seeing Mayuri at his monitors and seemingly analyzing the levels of something. You don’t know enough to understand what it is he is doing. Once you are at his side, trying to get a closer look, he speaks. His eyes never moving from the monitor and his hands typing at a maddening pace.

“What is it? What do you want? Have you come in here just to bother me?”
