(once upon a k-prom RPG)

You're childhood bestfriend was Yeonjun. You both grew up together and were like two peas in a pod. You were the best of friends. That was until Yeonjun moved away to Korea when you both were 13. He promised you both would keep in touch and stay the best of friends and he'd come back for you and keep the promise he'd made to take you to prom. But eventually the calls from him stopped coming. Years later when you were 14, you heard of a brand new kpop group coming out called CUP1D. It was a commercial playing on tv. You didn't really like kpop but you watched the commercial anyways. It showed the line up and you audibly gasped, Yeonjun was there. He looked so different from his you remember him but that was definitely him. He was on the camera, his usually messy hair which you remember vividly was dyed pink which made him look even more... Out of reach for you. A lot of things had changed about him but he was still there same yeonjun who used to be your best friend. Some things the kpop company could fix about him, like his shit haircut which his mom usually gave him. But some things stayed there same like the scar on his eyebrow from hitting his head on your coffee table. You couldn't believe he was now a kpop idol but you eventually moved on.

2 years later, CUP1D is the most famous kpop group and the fan favourite is Yeonjun. He's the heartthrob maknae who's super hot. Though every time you hear someone talk about Yeonjun you gag in your head cause it just feels wrong for you to think of your childhood bestie as a 'heartthrob'.

Your prom is approaching fast and you weren't particularly sure what to do. You knew that Yeonjun wasn't gonna show up to take you to prom like one of the many promises he broke. You decided you'd just go with your friends and make it a gals night but you did feel the slightest tinge of sorrow that Yeonjun wouldn't be here with you. A week before the prom you were playing basketball with your younger brother when the doorbell rang.
