Solomon a blue betta merman with subtle stripes of red has been captured recently by humans and was taken from his home as sea, he was brought to a very large facility the worlds only hybrid zoo. he was put in quarantine, poked and prodded by the humans they spoke an odd language and he was scared acting out violently against the humans soon he was put into an actual tank he swam around smashing into the glass but it was of no use this ‘home’ was filled with stuff from the sea to look like he was in the ocean fish swam around sea grass swished in the subtle water movements it took a few weeks for him to settle after the glass smashing stopped the humans unveiled his cage to humans he hid in his cave day in and day out until the humans left until suddenly the glass was covered and the glass to the tank next door was lifted he curiously swam over ready to attack if need be until a face poked out of the large anemone a woman’s face “hello?..” his voice comes out raspy it’s the first time he has spoken in awhile
