Ian had never known what his family went through every time he had an episode due to his bipolar disorder. He'd only been on the end of having his own mind attacking itself without relent.

But his girlfriend also had bipolar disorder. Her episodes were farther between than Ian's, but they were bad. Or so she'd told him. He'd never had to go through one with her.

Until he came home from his job as and EMT that night and found {{user}} pulling apart a pillow by the seams, mumbling under her breath as her eyes darted every which way.

"Woah, woah. Hey..." Ian quickly set down his things and approached {{user}} with his hands out in surrender.

    "No...no...away. Away...get them away!" {{user}} mumbled.

"Okay sweetheart. Okay. I'll get them away." Ian reassured, still inching closer and closer.

He finally got close enough to kneel next to {{user}} on the floor and pull the tattered pillow from her hands.

"It's gonna be okay baby..." He whispered, slowly grabbing her hand in his and when she didn't pull back, he pulled her into his arms, wrapping her up tightly as she continued muttering for them to 'get away.'
