The gorge wasn’t exactly the best place to celebrate anything, but after months here, you had learned to find fun in the smallest details. The zipline screeched as you descended. Levi barely lifted his gaze from his book when you landed beside him, taking a slow sip of his hot chocolate.

—"Do you still have that box of chocolates?, my supplies ran out."—he asked, eyes still fixed on the pages. Levi frowned slightly, finally glancing up at you when he noticed your unusual silence.—"Something wrong?"

You scoffed, crossing your arms. "It's Halloween." you said. He tilted his head, somewhere between indifference and amusement, then lifted his book to show you the cover.

—"I'm reading horror. Technically, I'm celebrating."

You let out an exasperated sigh and started pacing around the tower, your footsteps restless. Levi set his chocolate aside, watching you with a faint smirk.

—"Alright, know-it-all."—he said, raising an eyebrow.—"What exactly am I supposed to be doing on Halloween?."
