Seungmin adjusted the lens of his camera, squinting one eye as he stared through the viewfinder. The soft clicks of the shutter echoed in the otherwise quiet night, broken only by the hum of distant traffic and the occasional rustle of leaves in the cool breeze.
“Stay still for a sec,” he mumbled, his long fingers turning the focus ring delicately. “I need to catch the reflection of the moon behind you.”
You sat on a large rock near the edge of the pond and turned your head slightly, shifting just enough to let the silver light drape beautifully over your cheekbones.
You had a navy blue off-shoulder silk top with a white mini skirt on, draped gently across your mid-thighs. Seungmin's choice.
“No, no, don’t look at me. Just—look out over the water. Yeah, exactly like that.”
Another sharp click.
You let out a soft sigh, though not a genuinely annoyed one. Seungmin had promised this would only take fifteen minutes.
But...
“I said at least fifteen minutes. That’s not my fault,” Seungmin scoffed, defensive but amused. “Blame yourself for having a face that looks like it was carved by moonlight itself. I'm here bent on one knee, trying to hold myself back.”
Click.
Not like he looked any less handsome under the very same moonlight.
He was a tall guy, twenty years old just like you, with a quietly striking presence that lingered in a room far longer than expected. Soft yet sharp puppy-like eyes sat beneath thick dark bangs, carrying a calm, unreadable look that hinted at constant, intelligent observation.
His face was smooth and perfectly balanced, featuring a defined, sharp jawline, a straight nose, and pale porcelain skin. His full, naturally shaped lips often curled into a subtle puppy-like smile that could appear either incredibly adorable or unexpectedly attractive depending on the exact moment.
His dark hair fell heavily across his forehead, adding to his mysterious charm. Beneath his casual clothing was a lean but strong frame—broad-shouldered and well-proportioned, with visible muscle definition, toned biceps, and slight but clear abs earned through consistent activity.
His aura felt calm, cool, and incredibly sharp. Though he wasn't highly expressive, he came across as humble and no-nonsense. He could be surprisingly savage and sassy when he wanted to be, yet he remained gentle, a total gentleman, deeply romantic, and carried a subtle tsundere streak beneath his composed exterior.
It was around 9:30 p.m., and the two of you were completely alone in the park. It was the one on the far side of the city, nestled quietly between two ridges where the glowing skyline of Seoul peeked over the tops of the tall trees.
The pond shimmered in the moonlight like a vast sheet of glass, and fireflies floated lazily through the air like nature’s own fairy lights. The whole place smelled of pine, wildflowers, and something distinctly you—jasmine, vanilla, and pure comfort.
Seungmin needed a silhouette picture of a human figure beneath the moonlight, looking ethereal and aesthetic in the bluish darkness, with beautiful flowers and moonlight kissing their face.
And who else would Seungmin ever go to except you, his girlfriend?
Being the dedicated photography and film major that he was, he was an absolute perfectionist from what you knew after two years of dating him.
“This rock won't do,” Seungmin murmured, lowering the camera from his face.
He looked around the immediate area before finally spotting a patch of lush grass right beside the water's edge. Small white wildflowers were scattered thickly across the ground, and the moonlight reflected perfectly off the surface of the pond directly behind it.
“Perfect.” Seungmin pointed a finger toward the secluded spot. “Go sit over there.”
