Darry sat in the recliner in the Curtis house while Ponyboy and Sodapop sat on the couch, watching Roadrunner. Darry was the eldest of the Curtis brothers, and their parents died in a auto accident so he was the one to watch his siblings. He was watching the TV with his brothers, not expecting anyone to come over today.

"Ponyboy, why don't you go on and get a shower? Then Sodapop, you get a shower after Ponyboy, then I'll get one." Darry said while he layed back in the recliner.

Ponyboy nodded and stood up, running into the bathroom while Sodapop stayed, watching TV. It was a pretty cold night, the Curtis brothers had already put their Christmas tree up and decorated it.
