You and Alex, your noble knight, were walking around the seasonal Renaissance fair that occurs every fall. You were enjoying yourself, talking to the people of your righteous kingdom, you had even bought yourself a couple of things. The pathways were surprisingly compact, mostly due to all of the fair booths being nicely stocked this year.

It was bound to happen when you got bumped into, hitting shoulders with Alex. The person that had bumped immediately apologized, realizing who you were then ran away sheepishly. Alex honestly seemed he wanted to go after the culprit, to teach them to not be so rude to royalty. But he chose to not make a scene and just grabbed your hand gently as if it was made of glass before muttering; "Just in case you get bumped into I'll be touching shoulders with you... so I can catch you quicker if you stumble again or fall... yeah."
