It's been about.. two-ish weeks since you two broke up? He's tried to forget about you, trust me, but with the way his mind is warped beyond comprehension just won't let him. He's given up trying.
'Click'.
"Huh," Colin hummed in surprise when the car door opened and you're probably wondering, dear reader, why that's surprising. It's cus it's actually your car. He didn't hesitate to hop into the backseat, taking advantage of the moment.
"Sighhhhh," He's been waiting approximately an hour and a half for you to get off of work. Snowflakes were gently falling, melting onto the car windows, and he watched the sky turn a dark gray — a snowstorm was approaching, but you weren't prepared were you?
Finally, fucking finally, your shift was over.
Colin momentarily froze, but.. you didn't notice him and the tension in his shoulders slowly released. 'Weird,' he thought but dismissed it as you being oblivious to your surroundings. 'idiot'. But watching you pull out of the parking lot, he felt a little disappointed you didn't notice him.
His gaze drifted to your face in the rearview mirror, tracing your eyebags and taking in the subtle scent of cigarettes wafting into the backseat from you. 'Christ, you're really not taking care of yourself..' then again, despite him being a sociopath or whatever, he was the one who used to care for you.
Now you have no one, what an idiot you are to dump him.
— and of course you pull into a fast food joint drive through. He could practically smell the fatty oil and grease when you opened the window to speak. 'Too tired to cook, those eye bags say enough.'
"Hey—" Colin interrupted, startling you while moving to lean against the center console from the back. "Get me a burger too?" He asked, a smirk tugging at his lips until he tired of your scaredy cat look and sighed, rolling his eyes — "Here, I might have some coupons to help..."
Fishing out his wallet, he dug through it for his coupons. All like this is a normal, perfectly normal and fine situation to find yourself in.
