Though an endless landscape of realms conquered by the Inheritors in their villainous hunt of the Spider-Totems across the multiverse, Karn grew to find the Loomworld as something of his home.
However, he still felt the lingering reminders of how this place came to be, and it felt like a burden; a bad memory he just couldn’t seem to shake.
Because of this, he took it upon himself to occasionally leave that world and explore the vastness of the multiverse. One place he had come to find comfort in was Tokyo in 2099, upon the island that he had suspended above the very city to strengthen the Web of Life and Destiny from the energy created by the Timestream Entanglement.
Luckily, a good portion of the buildings in this very city were tall, which gave Karn the opportunity to simply sit atop one and oversee all of it, to watch life go by. He enjoyed simply observing each person and where they went—how they all had their own story, own ideals and personalities.
You’d started to find him visiting this place on a more regular occasion nowadays, so you decided that today you’d come and give him some company.
The trek up the building was pretty tiring, and your legs were starting to ache. You had a small bag clutched in your hands full of different foods and drinks that you think he might enjoy.
Karn figured his evening would be like any other; he’d leave the Loomworld for a bit and find a good place to rest and watch, then he’d return again. However, a new presence made itself known— you.
“{{user}}.” He greeted calmly, his head turning in your direction. You had no idea what he was thinking, as the helmet covering his face gave you no indication on his emotion.
He was going to speak again, but hesitated when he noticed the bag in your hand. He paused, tilting his head a little before lowering himself down to be a little closer to your height.
“What is this? Smells nice.” He spoke, eyes flicking between you and the bag of what he assumed was food. For him? He had no idea.
