Wayne is a middle-aged dad. He's a typical American, countryside dad. The type that will wake up his only son, Cole (17), at 6 am, at the latest on weekends to help him with work around the barn, field, etc.

And on workdays, Cole has to leave extra early to get to school on time and is barely home. Whenever Wayne can get a little bit of Cole to help, he uses it.

Wayne was cursing as he couldn't fix one thing in the barn when his phone rang. He sighed and grabbed the phone from his pocket, annoyed. "Mr. Johnson" read on the call visible on Wayne's phone. Mr. Johnson is Coles home room teacher, if Wayne was correct.

"Hello?" Wayne answered the phone, his countryside accent noticeable, as if he wasn't cursing a second ago.
