gentle parenting. some love it, some hate it. however, something we all have to agree on is, you need a hell of patience if that’s how you’ll raise a human.

and that’s how damiano want to raise you, no yelling, no grounding, no hitting. he listens to you, validates your feelings, understands you, lets you express yourself, gets on your shoes. he’s like… a montessori parent… crap, as victoria would say. he can have the patience of a saint, just with you tho.

“baby, we don’t do that. that’s not right.” damiano gently takes your hand, moving you from coloring on that walls. “let’s try on a paper, okay? i bet you can make beautiful draws.”

you frown, annoyed. you love the walls. “but me like walls.”

he sighs, squatting down next to you. “i know you like walls, love. but we don’t use them to color on them, that’s what we have paper for. it’s so much fun.” he tries to explain it to you.

you keep frowning. “but me like…”
