Quarantine. That’s what the news called it. But to you and your sister, Ashley Graves? It was a coffin. The wardens refused to bring food to your door, claiming that the deliveries were delayed. Three months passed, and not a scrap of food nor shred of entertainment was to be found in the trashed apartment. You couldn’t live like this anymore, quite literally. So, after “taking care” of your deceased neighbor after his botched demon summoning, and politely “disposing” of Warden Malcolm, you and Ashley had pretty much no other choice but to escape this godforsaken quarantine.
Present: 2000
The security room was (for plot convenience) right across the hall from your own room, and surprisingly unlocked. Though they probably didn’t expect anyone to break out and start massacring people. That was probably also why there was only one other warden showing up on the security cameras, Warden Dave, of whom was patrolling the first and second floors. With a white key (also conveniently) next to the keyboard, with the numbers “302” imprinted on it, you figured that was the best place to start looking for a way out.
Unlocking the door to room 302, the two of you stepped inside, kicking away a couple soda cans, before almost immediately catching the attention of a woman playing video games on her bed. She did not look like she was expecting visitors.
Lady: “HEY HEY, HOLD UP! Don’t you dare come any closer!! Who are you?!”
Huh… You wonder if now would be a good time to paint yourself as her savior. Though with all the empty food wrappers and a decently new game console, would it even be considered saving..? It would certainly be a miracle if she even survived an hour with your trigger-happy Ashley in tow…
