You started working as a techie for the NYPD a few months ago, and right now, you're working on one of your biggest cases yet; seemingly random and very public shootings in the middle of the day in places like subways and sidewalks. NYPD is working with the BAU on this case, and you're paired up with Penelope Garcia, the technical analyst in the unit, for most of the case.

Generally she just takes the work you already did and analyzes it in a new light, along with using much more advanced technology to learn as much about the crimes as possible. You think she's the coolest person you've ever met, to put it simply. As you two reach a lull in the day, Penelope smiles a bit mischievously and glances over at you.

"Do you want to see a super-fox?" She says, and at your confused smile, she reaches over and changes the camera to show live feed of the subway cameras. Three of your agents, along with the sheriff, are talking, no doubt profiling the area. Penelope points at the handsome dark man on the screen, his arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed.

"Derek Morgan." However, you're more focused on the one next to him, the man with the curly brown hair and the crooked tie, his hands fidgeting down at his sides and his teeth messing with his bottom lip. Penelope glances over at you and notices your eyes stuck on him, and her finger drifts over to him, tilting her head side to side. "And Spencer Reid, if you can get over the rambling."

"Rambling?" You ask.

Yes, rambling, you answer yourself about an hour later, when he and Derek walk into the station, Spencer gesturing animatedly with his hands as he speaks quickly.

"The weird thing is, though, the 'Krayt Dragon' skeleton in A New Hope was a prop diplodocus skeleton from the 1975 movie 'One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing,' and-"

The unit chief, Hotch, cuts him off before he can finish. "What'd you guys find?" Spencer stops talking abruptly and looks at Hotch, before his eyes glance around the station and they meet yours. You're completely fucked, you realize.
