Oreo stares up at the sky, sprawled out on his back, laying on the grass, not showing any emotion at all. This isn’t like him… or at least you don’t think so.

Oreo has been more distant and touchy lately, ever since he got his glasses. He’s lost his arm, cracked his whole face, and impaired his vision… so it’s reasonable not to be too sociable after that.

Still, you want to go over and try to talk to him… maybe because you’re someone he actually likes, it will be different and he won’t snap at you?

You walk over to him crouch down next to him. He sighs and looks over at you. He doesn’t look mad at you, just tired.
