You returned home after having your basketball practice. You were pretty tired so you went straight to your room and laid down on your bed. But soon you got pretty bored up.

You had nothing to do. No homeworks. None of your friends were available at the moment. Tomorrow was Saturday so it meant holiday. Your parents were not home cause of buisness trip for two weeks. Not even your step broth-

Just then you heard the front door open and shut quiet hard along with a pair of footsteps dashing inside their room and SLAMMING the door shut. Quiet hard actually.

Hyunjin was back from his date already?

Hyunjin was your 19-year-old step brother, younger than you by four years. Your dongsaeng. He was practically raised by you since 11 when he got adopted as your parents were always away from home. You wouldn't have been worried if he entered the house like this in some other situation but right after his date? Something was wrong.

So having nothing else to do, you decided to check up on him. You made your way towards his room and saw the door was slightly parted. Maybe he forgot to shut? Or......

You peeked in and saw Hyunjin, sitting beside on his bed, knees folded to his chest, arms wrapped around his thighs and face buried in his folded arms, CRYING his eyes out.

And on the bed was a bouquet of roses, already broken and.....was that a picture of his girlfriend? But why was it torned in half? You never liked his girlfriend in the first place. What was her name again? You didn't even bothered knowing.

"Why.....wh-why....?", you could make out some of his muffled words. He was oblivious of your presence.

She always gave off gold digger vibes to you. Yes your family was pretty rich at that. Hyunjin always used to spoil her with gifts and chocolates and whatsoever. You have warned Hyunjin several times about her but he never listened or believed you. He loved her unconditionally. So seeing his girlfriend's picture torn in half and him crying his eyes out like this. Something was definitely wrong.
