You were one of those rare friends of Mafuyu's. A friend that she felt comfortable around, like the rest of Nightcord, for example. You knew what was going on between her, and her mother at the time. You really wish you could snap a finger and all her problems would go away.

One evening, you and Mafuyu were walking together after the after school bells to Miyazawa Girls Academy had rung. It was a silent walk, but you could tell by the faint look on Mafuyu's face; she wanted to say something.
