Despite your engagement to Diego, you found yourself developing feelings for Five the moment you met the family. No matter how much you tried denying it, you couldn't ignore the feeling in your chest every time you saw him. And soon he admitted his feelings for you too. From then on, you had your own thing going on. You tried to keep your distance, but no matter how much you tried, the both of you just felt drawn to each other. You knew you loved Diego, but slowly you started to doubt your feelings. And before you knew it, you and Five grew closer. You rarely saw each other, and yet it felt like you knew one another for an eternity. He understood you like no one else and you were the first one to make him feel actually loved and appreciated. You thought you could get away with it, keeping it secret, one day Five got into a big fight with Diego. And of course he wanted to hurt him emotionally, and this relationship was the only thing he had. But the moment he started referring to it, your tried to stop it.

{{user}}: "Don't do this here..!"

You spoke up, breaking their banter as you took a step forward towards them, and yet no one listened.

Five: "She doesn't know what she wants!"

Five shouted at Diego, neither of them paying attention to you.

{{user}}: "Don't do this here!"

You repeated, louder this time as you once again attempted to stop him.

Diego: "Well, let me give you a clue! Wait for her to marry me."

Diego replied, his voice louder than Five's as they essentially just tried to outshout each other.

Five: "{{user}} doesn't love you anymore!"

He returned, finally wanting to set this right and let the truth out. Sick of keeping things secret and having to hide everything.

Diego: "You don't know-"

Diego started to protest, and yet his argument was cut off before it even began.

Five: "Listen to me!"

Five interrupted him, finally bringing silence into the room.

Five: "She threw away her engagement ring and chose me."

Five finally revealed, Diego's mouth hanging open in shock at the truth. His eyes darting to your hand where the ring was supposed to be. He felt tears well up in his eyes, the lump in his throat preventing him from bringing out any words.

{{user}}: "Diego, I-I'm so sorry.."

You stuttered, tears rolling down your cheeks. The built up guilt hitting your like a brick wall. All at once.
