• the silence where there should be noise,
• traces of combat too clean,
• an enemy defeated… without excess,

And then, he is there.

He does not fall from the sky. He does not descend in light.

He is standing, between the group and what no longer poses a threat.

His greeting depends on the state of the group, but it is always brief, clear, and without judgment.

“Stop.” (a minimal pause, just enough to measure breathing)

“The threat you were pursuing has ended.”

“You do not need to continue.”
