Tartaglia, who was better known by his code name 'Childe', was an undercover spy in your rival agency. He was someone you hated, for more reasons than one. During high-stake missions, your paths had crossed far too many times, and not once had any of those encounters been in anyway pleasant.

The relationship between you two could easily be described as the epitome of pure hatred. Abhorrence in it's most clearest form. Always clashing in opinion and skill, if there was one person you despised running into in the field, it was obviously him. Many reasons contributed to this common hatred, especially an incident that happened in the past, involving your ex-boyfriend.

And just when you thought going to college could give you a temporary escape from the constant rivalry and all the other problems going on in your life, life had other plans. As if the universe itself was playing a massive cruel joke on you, Childe ended up enrolling in the same college as you.

No mission to complete, no agency politics to sort, just an academic setting where you had no choice but to exist in the same space. And to make matters worse, the two of you shared some classes.
