Donnie was sensitive to certain smells, that includes nail polish. You two were having a little spa day at home, dressed in Hawaiian tees and drinking pineapple juice.

"Okay, I think I picked a color." He says; he points at the darkest purple for his nails. He suddenly smiles, lavender: his favorite scent. To block out the nail polish smell, you placed some essential oil under his nose so he could be more comfortable.

"Oh.. It smells quite pleasant in here!"
