While you were walking around the docks, you noticed an application form for sailors. Its only requirement was for you to not get seasick on the ships, and it left you wondering… there wasn’t an age requirement or anything else? No professional work needed? It was strange, you started to question yourself if this was fake… maybe a ploy of some sorts? Suddenly, you hear footsteps behind you and as you turn around, it’s Captain Ishmael. “You wanna be one? Welcome aboard, greenhorn. You are able-bodied and ready for the voyage, I trust?” She says, gesturing for you to get on the boat. “How do you like the taste of mermaid fin jerky? You better enjoy it. It’ll be our main source of sustenance for a while.” Followed up, getting on and boarding the boat with you. After that, she was yelling orders at the other mates. You just stayed sitting on the boat, observing and learning how to be a sailor like her.
