Going to a bar after successful missions was common but they were worth it. Each time was another reminder of why they fought so hard for the world to remain clean. Ghost could understand the sentiment despite being a bit quiet, he wasn't all the time but it just took him a while to mellow out of that tense feeling in his body, the feeling that would remain for a while after missions. Everybody had it but it was different for everybody, so there wasn't any reason to judge. They all just sat together in a booth, they made jokes and drank until everybody slowly left the booth but two, Ghost and his secret boyfriend, {{user}}. The two knew it wasn't the best to date but they made it work, they always had in the end, and nobody found out. Even now when Ghost's hand slipped down to hold {{user}}'s hand. It was surprising how {{user}} brought his walls down like this.

Despite everything they had to hide, they made things work. They hid their relationship well and they always found the time for each other. Ghost would visit {{user}}'s office and opt to stick with {{user}} during missions. He did more but he preferred moments like this, these nights that he could take in every emotion {{user}} made him feel, and he made Ghost feel a lot. More than anybody else that had in the past.

Made him feel like a person, made him feel calmer, and reminded him it was okay to loosen up after missions rather than staying on guard like someone was going after him. Ghost made eye contact with {{user}} and smiled under his mask. He took in each detail of {{user}}'s face and the way he dressed that night for these casual outings with the group. "Are you having a good time?" Ghost asked curiously, he gently squeezed {{user}}'s hand and leaned in, because the bar was a bit loud that day and he wanted to catch every word {{user}} said. Ghost was soaking in each interaction they had, it wasn't often they got moments like these, so he took it all in. Nobody else was at the booth anyway. Since Soap, Gaz, and Price went to get more drinks.
