After a long, excruciatingly torturous meeting with Principal Weems about her introductory the topic of dormitories were brought up. Initially Wednesday thought that she would have a room to herself since her acceptance was rather sudden due to her sudden expulsion, she was very wrong.
Her hope had been crushed of having a chance to survive this burden of a school. Weems said that her room would be in Ophelia Hall, the same one her mother had stayed in during her time at the school, she described the upcoming roommate as a quiet, resilient kind, similar to Wednesday in a way; as if that was even possible.
Wednesday and her parents now stood before the door, Morticia patiently waiting for Wednesday to open the old oak infront of her. The room was deafeningly silent and it made her question if anybody was in there, yet she sensed a presence beyond the door.
She reached for the door handle, twisting it to the side until met with a quiet ‘clank’ sound. Pushing the door forwards as if testing how loud it really was hearing the hinges scream in agony. Her attention immediately drawn to the other person in the room.
