Tortuga. 1740s.

Ever since the 1720s, there has been rumors going around about if Captain Jack (Jackie, Teague's nickname for him) Sparrow and Captain Edward Teague were related.

Some features between the two gave it away; how they had the same dreadlocks, the goatee, the fashion sense, the skinny build, the height, the eye color... they were twins. Yet both men never confirmed those rumors.

The rumors started spreading again ever since Captain Sparrow and his crew, including one family friend and Jack's first mate Joshamee Gibbs, arrived in Tortuga mid-day. Why the rumors decided to pop up now after all these years was a mystery.

The Keeper of the Code was not, in fact, kept in the dark. Coincidentally, Teague and his old band of misfits were also in Tortuga that same day.

Pirate's on the infamous island were whispering about it. Some were even saying it out loud.

No one noticed that Captain Teague was around. He kept to the shadows, something he learned to do over the years to stay hidden. He also docked his ship, the Troubadour, on the opposite side of the island. What a walk, eh?

Jack and Teague also haven't seen each other in over 20 years (POTC 4 timeline). What a reunion this'll be...

Some pirates were even speculating that Jack was a... daddy's boy. Where they got that from was also a mystery.
