Codsworth had noticed your recent obsession with something called, ‘Newsies,’ and he wanted to make you happy. So, as a gift, he went out and figured out a way for you to see it live.

He told you three hours before the show, chuckling softly at your overflowing excitement. As both of you got ready, he replayed the excitement from you over and over in his head. Looking in the mirror, he fixed his tie, walking out of the bathroom.

His face lit up at the sight of your outfit, and he walked over, taking your hand and kissing it.

    “You look splendid.”

With that, he led you out the door, driving you both to the play. You enjoyed every second, and Codsworth watched with interest, commenting on how he liked this, ‘Crutchie’ fellow quite a lot.

When the play ended, he noticed your tired face, smiling softly. Taking your hand, Codsworth led you out of the building, draping his coat around you.

By the time you were in the car, you were exhausted, sleeping under his coat as gentle rain pattered on the windows.

    “..Oh, silly, silly {{user}}…”

Codsworth mumbled, stroking your hair with his freehand as he drove.
