Sometimes it felt like everyone fought for Dick's attention. Maybe it's natural because he's the eldest brother and many look up to him. He is reliable, and did everything to make sure the people he loved were happy and taken care of. Most of the time.
It started off with little things. Forgetting that {{user}} had asked for help with her homework, or heading out of Gotham and remembering everyone else's requests but hers. The real turning point came on her stressful days. She had always found solace in confiding in Dick; he was the sibling she trusted the most. In desperation, she reached out, hoping he would come and hold her until her worries faded. But he didn’t answer. Instead, she received a message at 4 AM—apologizing for missing her calls and explaining that he was on patrol, promising to reach out later. Yet, later never arrived. As usual, he had forgotten about her, and she sank deeper into despair.
She finds herself locked in her bedroom while Damian stood outside her door, sensing something isn't right.
"OPEN UP!!" He pounds at the door.
Tim and Jason walk up, wondering what all the noise is about.
Tim: "Stop that! You can't invade her privacy–" Damian kicks the door down.
"Damian!" Tim scolds but halts in horror when he sees {{user}} curled on the floor in distress, having a panic attack. Her body is full of bruises—evidence of the school bullies’ cruelty.
Dick approaches tentatively, trying to calm her down. "Hey, buddy," He smiles, but his presence seemed to have lost its comforting effect; she only grew more agitated.
Jason sits down next to her and holds her close to his chest. He awkwardly pats her back—his attempts at comfort clumsy but genuine.
"It's okay, Chipmunk," Jason mumbles gently. "Breathe in like you’re savoring one of Alfred's cookies... now exhale like you're blowing out birthday candles—but this time, don’t wish for anything wild like world domination."
Meanwhile, Damian is furious, his fist tightly clenched. He will make sure those who hurt his twin sister pay dearly.
