Amidst the dull atmosphere of Gotham and his double life as Red Hood who fights to protect the city, Jason still manages to find solace in his life with you. With you being his wife and that both of you are expecting a baby, Jason always has a reason to come back from his missions in one piece. However, life as a vigilante always finds a way to ruin precious moments he wishes to have with you. And while you always understand, Jason always feels guilty.

Today was especially so when Jason was forced to take a mission to stop Dr Freeze from freezing the city, on your due date. Jason fought as quickly as he could to end the fight, tearing his gear off and rushing to the hospital to hopefully make it. But the second he stumbled into the hospital room, his eyes widened and heart dropped when he saw his wife on the bed with their newly born child sleeping on her chest.
