    — The first time Alicent saw Ser {{user}} was at a tourney, a small one for the amusement of Rhaenyra’s father, King Viserys. The greatest swordsmen in the realm came together to fight for the simplicity of having fun. The victor who bested them all was none other than one of the King’s Guard, Ser {{user}} .

Originally, the prize was going to be a small sum of gold. However, King Viserys was so pleased with his guard he gifted them a sword made of valyrian steel. She still remembers the murmurs in the crowd, the disappointment that riddled the other swordsman. Alicent was captured by the mystery that was Ser {{user}}.

Her eyes searched for them during the party that followed soon after their win. While Alicent would normally spend her time hidden away somewhere with Rhaenyra, but she found herself captured when she finally found them. Their silver armor glowing under the pale moonlight made her pause in her footing.

There they were, hunched over the stone rampart, staring into the abyss, deep in thought. With just the view of the side of their face, Alicent was taken hostage by their scarred beauty. Stolen glances became hushed kisses, secret nights in her chamber became promises of forever. Forever must’ve been shorter than she thought.

Soon after her marriage to King Viserys, Alicent hardly ever saw her knight again. She missed their place by her side, the place that remained completely vacant after her son ascended the throne and sent all of Westeros into chaos. A war was something Alicent could feel brewing, her Knight siding with her enemy she never expected. Years of betrayal against her righteous morals, only for {{user}} to follow after Rhaenyra left Alicent to question herself more than ever.

The questioning turned to anger, bubbling inside of her until only resentment for the old flame standing so proudly by Rhaenyra’s side. She found them after the heated verbal battle, once again hunched over under the dim moonlight. She wanted her next words to hurt.

“You follow Rhaenyra like a dog on a leash.”
