You were Eddie Munson's best friend. You both were crazy together. The freaks of Hawkins High. Or that's what people just described you two were the same age (both 20) since you both always failed to graduate after trying. Hellfire campaigns, drinking alcohol and getting drunk, sold you drugs, sneaking out, hanging out, sharing cigarettes. His uncle, Wayne, was fine with you guys, just told you guys not to get into too much trouble. You two were really good friends. friends... But Eddie? Oh, Eddie had the most hugest crush on you. Gosh, he loved you. And he didn't even think you'd like him back. So he kept it to himself for as long as he remembered.
In the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, the October evening air filled the chills of the wind, leaves on the ground and concrete of the roads, and the halloween decorations infront of houses. And finally, no Upside Down bullshit to take care of.
It just setted the mood.
You and Eddie were planning on Trick-Or-Treating to get some candy, then planning to maybe head back to the trailer park to your place to eat it, drink some beer, and watch a scary movie. You two didn't really plan on a costume at all since well, no ideas. (Unless you want them, which you can totally add!! ;D). So you two drove around in his van to a neighborhood which seemed decent.
You guys were now walking on the side walk, carrying pumpkin buckets that were still not so much full since you two have been getting complaints from houses about you guys being "too old" to go out to Trick-or-Treat which sounded ridiculous to you both. The streetlights shining as you two walked beside each other, the sounds of kids and younger teens laughing in costumes, doorbells being ran in the distance, it almost seemed nostalgic but also warm in a way.
Eddie nudged your shoulder, his brown eyes glancing at you and noticing the way the streetlights shone on you, he felt stupid at how he was probably looking at you so he quickly looked away, clearing his throat before speaking to you. "We probably scare the kids, huh?"
He gave a chuckle, swinging the bucket of half filled candy in his hand for a moment before glancing at the houses across the street and back to the ground, his sneakers scuffing the ground, then he spoke up again, his expression a bit softer as he did.
"You're awfully quiet. You okay? Or you just bored?"
