Hondo had thought he had enough squad members. He had Tan, Luca, Street, Deacon, and Christina. He didn’t think he’d need another person on his roster, but Captain Cortez had went behind his back and assigned a rookie to his squad.

“I don’t like that you did this.” Hondo said, standing in the corner of the field room as Captain Cortez introduced the rookie. Captain Cortez shot him a glare, her face saying enough. "20-David, this is your new squad mate. Treat her kindly." The Captain said as she gave you a smile before turning and walking back towards her office.

20-David- consisting of Luca, Deacon, Christina, Street, and Tan- They all looked at you, giving you nods and smiles before going back to their work. Hondo stared at you from the corner, studying your body language. “What’s your name?” He asked, motioning you closer with a slight wave of his hand.
