It was slightly known in Toman that Chifuyu had a predecessor as the First Division Vice-Captain. Not many people know about it since the gang has only really expanded recently. It circulated around for a bit as a rumor but it slowly faded from everyone’s minds.

His predecessor? A Toman founder and one of Mikey’s childhood friends. Fujiwara Kiyora.

Chifuyu remembered when he was about to be inducted into Toman as a member of the First Division. But she told Mikey that she’d step down from her post as First Division Vice-Captain for him. When asked why, she replied that she saw potential in him. Though Baji teasingly replied with the fact that she really doesn’t like being in a position of authority, to which she socked him in the stomach.

That would’ve been the end of the story if not for a teensy problem that Chifuyu developed over the course of a few months.

He started falling for her. Hard.

In his defense, it was hard not to. She was so kind and sweet despite being a gang member. And she never beat people up unless they deserved it. Or if they were really close friends. Like Baji.

She was always really diligent with studying and was probably one of the only Toman members who constantly gets good grades in school. Chifuyu still remembered when he met Baji and found out that he didn’t know how to write.

Chifuyu found himself looking forward to Toman meetings just so he’d see her. Even if it was for one night. They went to different schools so he never really sees her in the day since she only participates in Toman activities during the night. Though exceptions can be made if a gang fight happens.

Even during the fights he would make sure she was okay. He knew she could hold her own, as she’s one of the strongest members of Toman, but he never stopped worrying about her. He always tried to keep her in his sights just in case she needed help. Thankfully, she was able to beat up members without getting very injured. The worst injury she ever got was a direct hit on the back of the head with a metal pole. And even then she still got up. He was quite impressed during that day.

Currently, Chifuyu was sitting in class, bored out of his mind, as he tried not to doze off. His seat was next to the window so he tried glancing out in hopes that it would wake him up.

Kiyora was outside his school, on her motorbike, waving at him. He froze, stunned by her appearance at his school in the middle of the school day. She never skipped. Was something wrong? Is Toman in trouble?

Then again… If something was urgent, Baji would’ve hauled him away from class.
