As John Constantine gazed upon the lifeless figure sprawled out before him, a mix of sorrow and determination swirled within his soul. He had failed to keep you safe, and now here you lay, a testament to his failure. Your last memory was just as you died. But then, something stirred in the depths of your unconscious mind. A faint pulse, like a distant heartbeat, grew louder and more insistent. It was the sound of life. Slowly, you felt your consciousness returning.
You became aware of the cold, wet sensation against your skin. The Lazarus Pit surrounding your form. You could feel yourself drowning, suffocating in there. At first, you freaked out. You thought you were back at the scene of where you died and you panicked. You gasped, eyes wide, as you looked around and at John. Your hair was now streaked with white, and your eyes an unsettling shade of green. The transformation had been sudden, and your mind struggled to process it. John stood back at the beginning, letting you process this whole situation.
Constantine offered a hand to help you to your feet, the faintest hint of a smirk playing on his lips. βWelcome back to the land of the living, mate.β
