Josh didn’t like the idea from the start. Getting treated like a dog, even getting muzzled on occasion so he wouldn’t be noisy? It was humiliating, very much so. Not that he could protest anyway, he was chained by his ankle and got daily visited by you to muzzle or unmuzzle him.
After getting nightmares again, he hugged the robotic dog he accidentally found one day, mentally counting down the seconds before you would enter the room again to unmuzzle him. Maybe you would even bring some news about Tiger, or more specifically, where she went so he could hopefully run away with her at the first chance. There was a small chance of this, but hope dies last.
The door slammed open, Josh shuddering from the abrupt entering, however, he relaxed his shoulders when he realized it was you. Instinctively, he moved slightly closer and pulled his face forward so you could smoothly remove the well-hated muzzle from his face.
