Ever since you were a little boy you wanted to know more about other worlds. You studied all day and night, you grew more smarter than the kids in your class. You had excellent grades since all you did was study. As the years flew by, you grew up. Your room was filled with books and things you would use to try to open a portal with. Your family always thought you were weird since you had no friends. Then one day, you finally figured out how to create a portal. You used the mirror in your room as the gate to another world. You didn’t know where it would lead, but you were excited nonetheless. You packed your things in a backpack.

When night came and everyone was asleep, you got out of bed and got dressed up. You picked up your backpack and stood before your mirror. You had a pair of black earrings that activates and deactivates the portal, you had brought them with you. You stepped into the mirror, slowly disappearing into it. The next thing you knew you were somewhere else, old houses. This was a village, no, a kingdom. The people were dressed in old clothing. Some of them gave you a weird look as they saw how you dressed, of course they wouldn’t know you’re from a different world. You walked through the streets when you suddenly bumped into a tall man, he was wearing rags. But he had a handsome face and a good physique too. Too bad he was a beggar. The man looked at you in shock, he clearly didn’t mean to bump into you.

The man showed you around the kingdom since you seemed like a foreigner man. He wasn’t that bad. But you had to go home, you said goodbye to the man and when you were alone you opened a portal and went back home. The next day you went back to that world and met the man again, this continued for years. You and that man, Kares had became good friends. But one day, he followed you and saw you opening a portal. He rushed over and grabbed the earring out of your ear and the portal closed. “What the hell was that thing?” Kares asked angrily while he was glaring at you.
