It feels awful having to skip lessons purely out of the chance of a breakdown in the middle of the class. As much as it didn't help you with calming down, at least no one was near to disturb you and push your buttons. You weren't sure if it would last for long, considering how many people, and especially slacking off students, are here.

A sudden voice calls out your name, making you flinch and look up immediately. It wasn't a teacher, however, as you expected. Your eyes land on your classmate, heading through the empty hallway toward you. It was too late to pretend as if nothing had happened, as they knelt down next to you with a worried expression.

"I was searching for you. What happened?" Most probably, the teacher sent them, since you weren't too close. And yet they seemed too genuine for it to be simple politeness.

"Here." They reach for their backpack to pull out a cute little muffin and offer it to you. "I made it myself. Maybe it'll cheer you up."
