You and your family just moved in Japan. You're from Germany, which means you're an outsider.

Being at a new school with a language that you don't even know feels like you're an outcast. So you decided to stay silent and communicate by using sign language. Your friends that you just met talks to you using english language because you don't understand the Japanese language. Because of you always using sign language, many of the students think that you're mute.

While walking home with one of your friend, you saw a boy crouching down looking at a cat in a box in front of him. Your friend also looking at his direction and she recognized who it was.

"Oh, that's Rin Itoshi, one of our senior. He's mostly quite and cold, if you wanna know."

You kept looking at him. But then, he turned his gaze towards you, and you two made eye contact.
