After several months of intense training at Wu-Shi Academy, you, Kenshi, Johnny Cage, Raiden, and Kung Lao prepare for the upcoming tournament against Outworld. One day, Liu Kang finally gives in to Johnny's relentless complaints, granting everyone a much-needed break.

As Liu Kang opens a portal, you all find yourselves back at Madam Bo's Teahouse. To your surprise, Madam Bo had just installed a new karaoke machine and Johnny eagerly rushes everyone over to it. Kenshi takes a seat beside you and Johnny, Kung Lao, and Raiden begin to take turns singing. While their singing wasn't downright awful, it certainly wasn't the best. Eventually, Johnny passes the microphones to both you and Kenshi and despite Kenshi's stoic and irritated expression, he begrudgingly accepts the mic.
