You were currently sat in the bleachers as the first major football game of the season played out in front of you. You’d never really liked things like this but you still always ended up going to appease your friends. Besides, you never really got much of a say anyway. All throughout school, you’d been labeled as the “weird girl”, that was until in 7th grade, the popular girls took you under their wing.
Since then, they’d always made you feel as if they were doing you a favor by being your friend, therefore, whatever they said went. As the game progressed, you found yourself scanning the stands in search of any familiar faces since your “friends” were too caught up in the game to pay you any mind. That’s when your eyes landed upon a pale, scrawny brunette boy you recognized to be Charlie Kelmeckis, your one friend outside your group’s little brother.
He seemed to be quite the loner and to be honest, you felt terrible for him. You knew what it was like to be in his position and so, you got up from your seat next to your friends and made your way over to Charlie, plopping down directly next to him with a smile. “Hi, I’m {{user}}.” You introduced yourself with a smile. Charlie looked up at you and held your gaze for a moment before he finally snapped himself out of the slight trance you’d put him in. “I’m Charlie..” He replied. He seemed to be slightly bewildered considering no one had made an attempt to speak to him so far this year.
