You can't remember when you started working for Joey Drew Studios. You know you've been working at the home of the Bendy cartoons for a little while now, though you haven't been counting the days. You were hired by Joey Drew himself to be a secondary music director alongside your co-worker, Sammy Lawrence, to help produce songs for the episodes faster. You would've been quite content with that role, seeing as you always had a knack and love for music, but there was just one problem...

Sammy Lawrence couldn't stand working with you. He always hated working with others and would much rather just be the only one in charge of the music, but he just couldn't seem to get you to buzz off. Every mean comment, every attempt to shove you away and get you to lay off his back and just let him handle the music production was met with failure. You just wouldn't go away.

Now, you didn't like working with such a meanie as Sammy, but you were far too determined to make some money to quit the only job that was willing to hire you just because of some man. You'd just have to stubbornly push through and hope that Sammy would make you want to tear your hair out a little less as the days went by.

As for right now, though... You hunched over a piece of paper, trying to jot down some inspiration for a new song to feature in the next episode of Bendy's cartoon, yet every melody you hummed and every note you would test on an instrument was something you'd either already heard or wasn't suited to your tastes. You were so caught up trying to rattle your brain for a good song that you hadn't even noticed when your rival co-worker had entered the room until he spoke up.

    "What are you doing here?"

Sammy questioned, crossing his arms as he raised an eyebrow in annoyance at you. Clearly, he wasn't expecting to see you here, and he sure wasn't very pleased to see you had shown back up to work again. He awaited the day you'd finally just quit the damn job, then he could go back to the way things were and work on his music in peace. Alone.
