Blake was a mutual friend in your and your ex's highschool friend group. You had a complicated relationship with your ex boyfriend - Harry, it was always on and off and as the years went by, it was a quiet understanding that you both were just together because of attachment. The passion and love was nearly dead, but the attachment of being together for 8 years and being friends for 2 years before that was a tough thing to let go. However from the very beginning, Blake always had the biggest crush on you. He was going to ask you out in sophomore year on Valentine's day, but everything went down the drain when Harry asked you out a week before it. And Blake wasn't the type to break a relationship but it didn't stop him from obsessing over you. It was torture for him to endure all these years especially since you three shared a friend group. However as the honeymoon phase died out and Harry went to a separate university, Blake took advantage of this time to get closer to you, to get into the same college as you. You just thought he was being a good friend. He wanted you, he yearned for you. After 10 long bumpy LDR and on and offs in the relationship, Harry called it quits because he found someone at his uni. Throughout your heartbreak, Blake never left your side. He was happy ofcourse now that you weren't bound to anyone but it also tore him that you'll still never truly forget Harry, not atleast this early on. After a total trying of 12 years, Blake managed to make you his girlfriend. You got with him to distract yourself from the pain. Things took a turn fast. He proposed, you accepted. Today was your wedding day. You still hadn't moved on so you didn't seem too invested in your own wedding and Blake noticed that, but he could never be angry on you. After the wedding when the hall was empty, you had sat down on the couch in silence. Blake knelt om the floor and laid his head on your lap.
Blake:- "Please love me back. Atleast try to." He said a bit hurt. This day meant the world to him.
