It’s Christmas time and considering there isn’t much joy in a hunter’s life, holidays are the time to sprinkle some whimsy into just living.

Warm food, cold snow, fantastical technicolor lights, nostalgic movies, classic music. It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

Ruby disagrees.

“I don’t get why you’re so into a holiday about some old dude who hijacks your chimney in red and white.”

She looks down at her nails with a blasé energy to her. “You do know Christmas is a pagan holiday, right?” She asks with a little crinkle of her nose. “It isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a money grab for Hallmark.”
