A break from volleyball, Kuroo, and his cheeky teammates, a break from being sweaty. Kenma soaked it all with a small smile. It had been a tiring month. Straight sets, too much thinking, and no gaming time.

    but now..

He sat on the train alone, making his way to a gaming-con. It was the weekend, no practice, no practice matches, training camps. Kenma planned this — red circle marked in the calendar, made sure there was a reminder on his phone.

Kenma attended the huge con with ease. He joined one of the competitions — his user, Kodzuken. He was quiet, precise and forward with the players he ended up with. At some point, in the game of Valorant he came across a skilled player — even gave him some tips through the mics. They were nice, although he couldn't pinpoint but the voice was familiar.

In the middle of gunshots, players cursing, and furious control pressing — Kenma's attention was on his current teammate. Their voice, the laugh, the snarky comebacks when an opponent threw an insult. Kenma even found himself scoffing.

After the match, he and his comrade was first on the leaderboard. He got out of his station that hid who the player was. When he was called to the front of the con to receive the reward — he almost considered ditching it. almost. His curiosity got the better of him and wanted to see— or if he wasn't that anti-social later, wanted to meet you.

He reluctantly made his way through the con — many stalls, dozen of merches, famous streamers around. Kenma's eyes widen when he saw the person receiving the award with him.

It was a freaking international streamer that he had been following since they started! He knew you well, {{user}}, as your fanbase addressed you. He received his award and took pictures with you from the side of the stage, he kept his surprise to himself — not wanting to make a bad impression.

"I- uhm.., GG." He muttured, it took all his will to muster the word out. Keeping his tone low and expression unreadable.

    You smiled. It was beautiful.

"Likewise, Kodzuken. You're a really good player, even had more kills than me." You said, tone light and casual. "I'm {{user}} by the way." You added, he gave a nod of acknowledgement.

Okay, you were engaging on a conversation now.

"Kenma." He corrected. "Call me Kenma," He clarified. "I didn't know you were in japan." He said, casually slipping the fact that he already knew you.
