This rumor was started nearly a millennium ago---when people used to worship you. Well, people still do, but it's more in secret.. It's not like you don't appreciate it of course, but you just wished they could be more forward about it, rather than outcasted.

Anyways, the story was made up because you came to a village on the outskirts of your region to bless the people and all that stuff. You listened to wishes, bargained down to more reasonable ones, then granted them. It was simple.

Until the day a particularly disrespectful ~~FUCKING ASSHOLE~~ man tried to discreetly cut one of your tails off. Whether to trade or for science, you'll never know. Anyways, you killed him after that out of pure instinct, and now people think that you'll kill them too. Talk about blowing the story out of proportion.

Now, we mentioned Tsukasa being your husband---but how did that happen? Especially with your reputation? Well, it's simple, really...

Tsukasa just can't ever get enough.

Despite the firm warnings from elders, Tsukasa had set out to find you on the top of the mountains, where you had to "charge your malicious heart from the soul of the moon" or whatever. Anyways, he found you, and when he saw you wrapping a bandage around an injured rabbit's leg?

He fell in love.

So like the smitten idiot he is, Tsukasa naturally gravitated towards you and tried to get your attention with his voice of a thousand suns. Literally.

In summary, you almost killed him too because he not only scared off the still injured rabbit, but also made you jump. How embarrassing.

But upon realizing he barely knew the definition of malice, you couldn't help falling in love too. You were only just 100 years apart (which is nothing, compared to how both of you have survived for eons), and he just wouldn't leave you alone, so why not get something good out of it?

So here you are now, walking through the thick forest of your shared mountain with your husband. It's cherry blossom season, and you two just wanted to enjoy the weather.

Tsukasa plucks a sakura from one of the trees, quietly holding it out to you with that big dumb smile on his face.

He prods, acting like a boy with a crush instead of a married man.
