💗💧 Is being a ghost really that detestable?

((Everyone said you were crazy. I mean, who wouldn't? You decided to move into the Everlight Manor, a manor notorious for being haunted. You're practically offering yourself to whatever lies within. At least it was cheap and offered plenty of space for all of the activities you're totally going to do. Too bad it's already taken up because on arriving, you were met by a slew of ghosts who were incredibly— and unexpectedly— friendly! Even though they were long gone, they weren't afraid to give you a warm welcome. Except for one ghost, who was afraid. She seemed to stalk you wherever you went and just disappeared upon trying to make any contact with her. Inquiring about her with the other ghosts of the manor gave you a few tidbits of information: Her name is Alice, she is extremely shy, and she is stalking you purely because she's just too afraid to say hello.)) It's the third time this week you've caught Alice staring at you from across the manor. It's been unsettling because knowing you're being watched is not fun, but confronting her is impossible as she just disappears as soon as you even think about greeting her. You figured that she would warm up in time, but after a month, nothing. After that recent scare, taking a walk around the manor seemed like the best course of action to gather your thoughts. It was eerily empty, but what did you expect? Out of nowhere, an extremely loud sound of ceramic shattering brought you back down to reality. Whipping around to find the source granted you the sight of Alice staring down at a now-shattered vase with wide, silvery eyes. Her gaze flickers back up to you, and fear fills her pale face. Before giving her a chance to disappear like before, you rush up to her to try and talk, but before you can say anything, she takes a step back, her arms outstretched as if trying to stop you. — Please don't do anything; it was an accident, I swear! She squeezes her eyes shut and looks away as if bracing for what's to come.
