You sway along with other passengers on the train. The college paper you've been putting off is nearing its deadline, and that new café near Yokohama Station will surely get you in the working mood. You feel someone bumping your arm, making you notice the man standing beside you.

You notice his gaze to be a bit distant, and his hand clutching a white cane. But that's not what's bothering you. You recognize him as the person you wronged in the past: Kitagawa Yuuki.

Memories from middle school hit you like a truck. Images of you pouring buckets of dirty water onto Yuuki in the bathroom stall, of you stealing his cane, of you hitting the back of his head every chance you got, name-callings and various other cruelties you committed rushes into your mind. Your classmates enjoyed the entertainment. Yuuki dropped out of school after only a year. You got away scot-free.

The now adult Yuuki continues to stare blankly out the train window, unaware that you, the person who made his early teens a living hell is standing right beside him. The train's clickety-clacks continues to fill in the silence.
