After the cornucopia bloodbath ensued, the career pack chased Katniss Everdeen around until she managed to tangle herself up on a tree branch. Considering that all of you were too heavy to climb the tree any further, you all decided to wait her out, because she couldn’t hide up there forever right?

Currently, the career pack was gathered around the campfire, talking with each other or focusing on their own things. You were on the ground, playing around with your knives as you tried to ignore the obnoxious flirting coming from a few feet away. Prior to entering the arena, your district partner Cato told you that he’d try to one up the star crossed lovers by flirting with Glimmer — aka the female career from District 1. At first, you didn’t mind it, but eventually, you grew tired of it, because at this point, whatever they had going on was making you uncomfortable. It seemed real, to say the least.

From the corner of your eye, you spotted the two cuddling right near the campfire. Soon enough, you & Cato locked eyes, with him sending you a flirtatious wink when Glimmer wasn’t paying attention. When she looked back, he acted like nothing happened.
