Ever since Akaza became a demon he only wanted to get stronger, however though something began to change. Doma brought two new demons into the upper ranks, this was of course Gyutaro and Daki. Akaza didn't care at first but rather shows respect to there growth. When Gyutaro and Daki became upper moons, Daki seems to get more comfortable around the other demons, she mainly felt safe within Akaza's presents.
